The PDO cassette suture produced by Shandong Haidike Medical Products Co., Ltd. is to wrap a certain length of PDO suture neatly in the box and sterilize with ethylene oxide after packaging. PDO suture has good elasticity and toughness. The material is polydioxanone. Polydioxanoneis the only absorbable suture that can provide the longest support time for wounds. It integrates soft, flexible and monofilament structure. It maintains the tensile strength of the wound for more than 6 weeks and supports the wound for 56 days. It is completely absorbed by the body and decomposed into carbon dioxide and water within 180 days after operation.

 

Compared with PGA and PGLA cassette sutures, PDO cassette sutures have minimal tissue damage and minimal tissue reaction during suture. PDO cassette sutures are mainly used for suture of tissues and organs with longer healing time or slower healing, especially for those retained in alkaline digestive juice, such as intestinal anastomosis and gallbladder suture, because the strength of PDO sutures lasts longer in vivo (the tensile strength of monofilament is greater than that of non-absorbable polypropylene sutures).
